Neurology Inpatient Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Gainesville, Georgia

We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Inpatient Neurology team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality neurological care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full array of emergent Inpatient Neurology consults, including stroke, encephalopathy, seizure, and acute onset weakness
- Participate in night shift coverage on a rotating basis
- Facilitate care to patients throughout the region by triaging calls from community-based hospitals and providing a plan of care
- Partner with on-call Neurophysiology team as on-site treating clinician in care of EEG/EMU patients
Requirements:
- Unrestricted NP/PA License Required
- Board Certification via AANP or AANCE Required for Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in Neurology is Preferred, but position is open to new grads and those with other inpatient experience
