We are a busy small animal AAHA accredited hospital seeking a part-time or full-time veterinary technician to join our team. As a dedicated and experienced technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and appointments
• Conduct laboratory tests, take X-rays, and perform other diagnostic procedures
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Monitor patient vital signs, record medical history, and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and handle phone calls and messages
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital, veterinary technician degree preferred
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for working with people and animals
• A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for others
