POSITION SUMMARY:

The Loss Prevention Analyst plays a vital role in managing data from loss prevention systems, generating clear and actionable reports, and sharing insights with key stakeholders on a consistent basis. Responsibilities include maintaining updated Excel spreadsheets with new data, processing and converting video footage, tracking financial data related to loss prevention, and managing the communication center on SharePoint. Additional duties may involve conducting risk assessments and suggesting enhancements to existing processes and protocols.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Regularly monitor, extract, and compile reports
  • Quickly generate Ad Hoc reports to identify or clarify theft patterns
  • Produce comprehensive statistical reports on internal and external activities, audits, etc., including necessary findings
  • Analyze trends and develop actionable recommendations
  • Maintain loss prevention data across various platforms, including internal systems, SaaS applications, and Excel
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of intrusion alarm permits and fines
  • Oversee travel, expense, and capital reporting
  • Maintain Loss Prevention pages on SharePoint
  • Export and convert video data into accessible formats
  • Prepare and communicate store-specific data to enhance awareness and drive improvements
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Criminal Justice
  • 1-3 years of experience in Loss Prevention or Data Analysis
  • Familiarity with Exception Based Reporting
  • Experience with Refund Management Platforms
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
  • Proficiency in Video Management Systems
  • Experience with Case Management Systems
  • Store-Level Loss Prevention experience
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Strong conflict management skills
