Job Overview:

As a Pipelayer/Mechanical Crew Member, you will be responsible for installing pumps, blowers, and specialty equipment for water and wastewater systems. You will also lay underground communication and electrical ducts, install valves and other accessories, and perform other related duties. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install pumps, blowers, clarifier equipment, headworks, and MBR equipment.
  • Lay underground communication and electrical ducts.
  • Install valves and other accessories.
  • Ability to do neat work, plumb, and level.
  • Install miscellaneous metals.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years' experience as a pipelayer.
  • Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
  • Move throughout a construction jobsite, including minor obstacles, climbing ladders, and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
  • Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind.
