We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Specialist to join our team at LanceSoft. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.

  • Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year

In this role, you will work closely with our development and DevOps teams to identify and develop automated security capabilities in support of DevOps processes. Your expertise in secure coding practices, application security scanning tools, and CI/CD processes will be essential in helping us stay ahead of the threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Client specific security policies in CI/CD security tools
  2. Work with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to identify and develop automated security and compliance capabilities
  3. Define security rules to be adhered to at a code level in web and mobile applications
  4. Provide security guidance to developers through secure coding standards and guidelines
  5. SUPPORT security standards, create templates and patterns to increase the efficiency and adoption of security program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years of work experience in the IT field
  • 3+ years software development experience using Java, JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience in OWASP Secure Coding Practices, Common software and web application security vulnerabilities, Application security scanning tools, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Experience in Python scripting

PREFERRED Qualifications:

  • Degree in Cybersecurity or CISSP/CSSLP certification
  • Business acumen to support the implementation of SAST or DAST or IAST across the enterprise
  • Ability to perform code reviews with minimal assistance
  • A self-starter, with a strong desire for learning new technologies and applying them to solve problems
  • Experience with two or more of the application build environments like Jenkins, Gradle, Maven
  • Familiarity with public cloud services
