Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Director to join our team at Star Food Snacks. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of labor-intensive fast-paced production lines, as well as solid financial knowledge. Previous experience working in a USDA food processing environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the facility operates efficiently and effectively, meeting productivity and quality targets.
  • Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage profit and loss for the facility, driving performance and reviewing KPIs regularly.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior operations role, preferably in a food processing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
