Job Description
The Radiation Therapy Clinical Instructor will be responsible for coordinating clinical rotations, conducting laboratory sessions, and evaluating student performance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and clinical affiliates.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate clinical rotations and ensure smooth execution of clinical schedules.
- Conduct weekly laboratory sessions with junior students in the spring semester.
- Orient students to clinical program requirements and facilitate their transition into clinical settings.
- Maintain positive working relations with clinical affiliates and secure new partnerships as needed.
- Assess student performance and evaluate their compliance with certification and other requirements.
- Participate in teaching, committee meetings, and program self-assessment processes.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy.
- NYS Dept. of Health licensure (or eligible) in Radiation Therapy.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of current clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist with modern equipment.
- Current NYS driver's license.
Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
