Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced custodian to join our team at our fabrication and plating facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the health and safety of our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleaning and paper supply closet inventory
  • Ensure the outside and front of the building are free from trash and debris
  • Water and maintain flowers and shrubs around the facility
  • Stock restrooms with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and air fresh refills
  • Clean machines, overhead pipes, floors, offices, and canteens
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, stairways, lockers, and other work areas
  • Wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
  • Empty wastebaskets, trash cans, and clean ashtrays
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant management
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Previous experience cleaning large facilities and offices
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Experience working in a non-climate-controlled environment is preferred
  • Ability to work well with other people, as well as self-start and motivate while working independently
  • Must possess and demonstrate good written and communication skills
  • Must maintain adequate attendance, safety, and job performance according to company policies and standards
