Overview:
HKS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Structural team as a Summer Intern. The selected candidate will work closely with professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and drafters on current projects, gaining hands-on experience in structural analysis and design.

Responsibilities:
As a Summer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with the analysis and design of building structure components, including foundations, columns, beams, and floor framing systems. You will also learn to use Revit to coordinate with architecture and other disciplines and produce construction documents. Additionally, you will assist with construction administration tasks, such as reviewing RFIs and submittals, and may have the opportunity to participate in construction site visits.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must be a current college student working towards a professional degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program. You should have a strong foundation in structural analysis and design, and be eager to learn and grow with our team. Working knowledge of Revit or other BIM drafting and presentation tools is a plus.
