We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at United Digestive as a Travel RN Endoscopy/GI. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders, recognized nursing techniques, and legal aspects of current nurse practice in the State of Georgia.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-direction and adaptability.
- Collaborate with the RN-Nurse Manager to ensure seamless patient care and center operations.
- Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred, with a strong understanding of endoscopy procedures and patient care.
- Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
- Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, with ACLS certification recommended but optional.
- Completion of Airway Management Module required prior to administering IV conscious sedation, with a score of 100% on the conscious sedation module post-test.
- Ability to work under stress and pressure.
- Moderate periods of sitting and computer use.
- Good visual acuity and ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time, lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
