Overview:
As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be accountable for the setup, testing, and balancing of energy management systems related to the control installations for refrigeration, HVAC-R, and lighting systems within grocery and cold storage facilities.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Engage with clients and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, and field support teams.
Adhere to internal contracting protocols concerning customer-specific documentation and project closeout procedures.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions using test equipment or software, applying your knowledge of electronic units and systems.
Inspect industrial equipment components for proper assembly and installation, as well as identifying defects like loose connections or damaged wires.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of various energy management systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (e.g., Novar, Danfoss, Emerson CPC).
Utilize analytical thinking to install, program, troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair control systems for HVAC-R, refrigeration, and lighting in grocery and cold storage environments.
Employ and maintain trade-specific tools, materials, and equipment utilized during the installation of energy management systems.
Demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical manuals, equipment specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
Exhibit problem-solving skills by collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
Interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form while managing several abstract and concrete variables.
Troubleshoot electrical and control issues, propose solutions, and implement them effectively.Qualifications:

High School diploma or ten years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Level:
Technical Degree
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 1 year of experience with a High School diploma/GED, zero years of experience with a Technical Degree.
Additional Information:
EPA 608 Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting objects up to fifty pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of motivation are essential.
Mechanical aptitude is necessary.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
