We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery team at Lakeview Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing operative and invasive procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide general nursing duties and be competent in all OR procedures as verified by specific competencies.
- Complete all paperwork and computer charting to ensure accurate and timely charting and patient charges occur.
- Facilitate communications between patient, surgeon, and OR staff and family and other departments as needed.
- Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
- Associate degree in nursing
- 2+ years of hospital acute patient care experience or 1+ years of surgical services experience required
