Key Responsibilities:
The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for:
- Designing, executing, and evaluating educational programs that promote the long-term development of children.
- Utilizing established curricula to create engaging lesson plans while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Fostering positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports to uphold high standards of excellence.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; candidates with an Associate's Degree currently pursuing a Bachelor's will also be considered.
- A minimum of one year of practical experience in a nurturing educational setting.
- At least one year of experience working under qualified supervision with children of various ages and developmental stages.
- A valid certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.
- In-depth knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- The ability to recognize and respond to children's needs, including identifying signs of illness and safety hazards.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and emotional maturity.
- Compliance with mandated reporter training and child protection clearances as required by law.
- A commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
