Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiology EP Experience Required

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Electrophysiology Lab. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to our patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrophysiology and cardiology, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage phone calls from patients, families, and providers, and respond to clinical-related communications.
  • Update medication reconciliation lists, manage prescription refills, and handle insurance prior authorization of medications.
  • Conduct insurance prior authorization of diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Track, collect, and review outpatient test results, and review abnormal results with supervising physicians or mid-level practitioners.
  • Inform patients of test results and clinical impact/plan.
  • Complete various medical and administrative forms, such as disability and VNA documentation.
  • Assist with clinical instruction for patients, including medication teaching.
  • Support administrative operations by acting as a clinical liaison to administrative support staff.
  • Maintain and follow patient care protocols.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, function as a resource to other members of the team, and resolve complex issues on behalf of providers and patients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of computer applications necessary to function in an ambulatory setting, such as MS Outlook and MS Office Suite.
  • Comfort in a practice environment that promotes patient-centered care.
  • RN licensure.
  • EP/Cardiology experience required.
  • Triage experience required.
  • Ambulatory experience preferred.
