Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned and motivated Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of experience in chemical production, complemented by a robust background in quality engineering. Experience within the semiconductor sector is highly regarded. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will be instrumental in guaranteeing product quality and adherence to regulatory standards, spearheading continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver outstanding products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and uphold quality management systems and protocols to ensure superior product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise quality assurance activities, encompassing inspection, testing, and validation of high-purity chemicals and other chemical products.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other pertinent certifications.
  • Address and resolve quality-related issues, non-conformities, and customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Employ Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality enhancement methodologies to pinpoint areas for improvement and execute effective solutions.
  • Guarantee compliance with regulatory mandates, including FDA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
  • Prepare and review documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and standards, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives related to quality standards and practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers regarding quality-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage customer audits and quality evaluations, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with established standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in chemical production, with a minimum of 3 years in a quality engineering capacity.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and handling high-purity chemicals is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in managing quality systems and driving process enhancements.
  • Strong grasp of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and DMAIC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Quality Management System (QMS) certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are beneficial.
