- Promote GNC's loyalty initiatives and customer engagement strategies.
- Analyze sales trends and product demand, providing insights to the Store Manager.
- Foster community relations and customer loyalty through innovative outreach programs.
- Stay informed on product assortments by reviewing merchandising bulletins and addressing customer inquiries with company-approved information.
- Lead and motivate the store team under the Store Manager's direction; communicate sales objectives and enhance team performance through constructive feedback and succession planning.
- Engage with training materials to gain a thorough understanding of product offerings and customer service protocols.
- Safeguard company assets and mitigate risks associated with conflicts of interest.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to resolve escalated customer service issues and oversee loss prevention efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Execute all register operations, including daily transactions and bank deposits, in accordance with company policies.
Independent Responsibilities:
- Lead staffing and training initiatives.
- Manage employee schedules within budgetary constraints to ensure optimal store coverage.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and disciplinary processes for staff.
- Implement visual merchandising standards and ensure compliance with GNC's presentation guidelines.
- Manage inventory according to GNC's protocols, ensuring timely receipt and shelving of merchandise to enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to quality control measures for stock management, including product rotation and maintenance inspections.
Compliance and Operations:
- Ensure adherence to all operational policies and execute omni-channel initiatives effectively.
Supervisory Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing a team of employees, ensuring effective management and performance.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, along with depth perception.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
