Leidos is seeking highly qualified Arabic Translators to support our National Security Programs. This position requires a full range of activities in processing materials and participating in situations requiring a general professional capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translation: Accurately translate reports and texts in electronic and hardcopy formats, capturing intended implications and nuances.
  • Interpretation: Interpret accurately, with consecutive and simultaneous interpretation capabilities.
  • Transcription: Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with high accuracy.
  • Gisting/Summarizing: Identify and summarize factual points and abstract concepts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong computer skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • BA/BS and/or equivalent formal military training and 2-15+ years of related work experience.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in Target and English.

We offer a competitive salary of $72,150.00 - $130,425.00, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
