About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at National Design Build Services LLC. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering project design assignments within time and budget parameters while satisfying client contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Technical: Perform load calculations for projects, design and plan layouts of equipment, duct and piping systems, drive the development of HVAC design from the initial concept through construction drawings utilizing Revit, and engage in several levels of field engineering.
  • Project Execution: Perform internal turnover meetings to identify project scope, risks, resource requirements, communications, schedule, and budgets, collaborate with preconstruction department to ensure project bid scope is developed into design documents, and drive quality control through on-site project visits and punch list creation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, specifically in HVAC design
  • Related experience in the HVACR industry
  • Self-motivated with excellent time and task management skills
  • Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities
  • Ability to interact effectively with others in a team environment
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Experience in Healthcare Design a plus
