Aerospace Quality Assurance Manager

AGC Acquisition LLC and Gar Kenyon Aerospace and Defense are divisions of the LOAR Group located in Meriden, Connecticut.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, including benefits like Health Care, Dental Care, Vision Care, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business preferred) or a minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing organization (Management of an Aerospace QMS is desired but not required).
This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills to maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS), oversee all aspects of Quality Engineering and Product Inspection, and coordinate periodic Management Reviews and monthly metrics for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a diverse product organization.
- Leads internal and external audit activities to ensure certifications and customer/supplier criteria are satisfied.
- Serves as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
- Lead root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
