- Thoroughly clean and restock restroom facilities, including floors, toilets, and dispensers.
- Maintain cleanliness of mirrors, walls, and partitions in washrooms.
- Clean window sills and windows.
- Report and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Keep janitorial closets organized and safe.
- Ensure janitorial equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals properly, following safety protocols.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
The Custodian will report to the Lead Custodian and Custodial Supervisor, focusing on the upkeep of the main facilities and equipment. Key qualifications include:
- Strong ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Proficiency in using cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to comprehend and execute both verbal and written instructions.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of housekeeping methods and cleaning products.
This position is physically demanding, requiring regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting of heavy items.
