Penn State Health is seeking a talented and compassionate Senior Healthcare Professional to join our Emergency Services team in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our ED - Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. This is an ongoing opportunity that requires 36 hours of work per week with 12-hour shifts in the evenings.

Your responsibilities will include assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. Additionally, you must obtain AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications prior to the end of your orientation period.
