Job Summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, monitoring staff performance, and communicating with physicians and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the orientation of new LPNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, conditions, etc.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to assure proper information about residents is communicated.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
  • One year nursing experience.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
