Position Overview

The Clinical Quality Specialist is a clinical leader who functions across service lines and locations as part of the management team and collaborates with compliance and nursing services. Responsibilities include partnering with service line leaders to facilitate a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical staff workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with service line leaders to develop and implement clinical quality initiatives
  • Facilitate clinical education and quality assessment initiatives across multiple specialties
  • Ensure compliance with WakeMed policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agencies such as the North Carolina Board of Nursing

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Not applicable for licensure/certification requirements

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • No weekend requirements
  • No call requirements
