Job Summary

ReqOverflow is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT), general radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment of medical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate CT procedures using optimal techniques and parameters to produce quality images for patients of all ages.
  • Ensure correct positioning of patients, prepare equipment, and monitor patient condition before, during, and after scanning.
  • Correctly make modifications for positioning, slice thickness, and intravenous contrast administration.
  • Explain procedures, gather pertinent information, review, and confirm with patients.
  • Perform contrast injections as ordered by physicians.
  • Report critical findings and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist physicians with invasive procedures as necessary.
  • Accurately enter data into the HIS system to order exams as necessary.
  • Use the RIS to capture patient visit and charge information.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • 2 years of clinical experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting preferred.
  • ARRT (R) registered and ARRT (CT) registry certification required within 2 years of hire.
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Healthcare Provider (HCP) - AHA approved required.

  • Rotating weekends and shifts, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed to provide 24/7 coverage.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends/holidays and available for all shifts as needed.
