Job Details:
- Starts ASAP and ongoing for 10-15 hours a week to cover a caseload of 8 patients.
- Client has a PMNHP who covers the rest of the caseload.
- Need is to cover two 6 bed girls dual diagnosis residential treatment programs and one 6 bed boys dual diagnosis residential treatment program.
- The 3 houses are very close together.
- For the locum tenens services, it can be 100% remote tele health.
- Client uses a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom for tele health.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Child Psychiatrist is strongly preferred; however, will consider a board certified adult psychiatrist who s experienced with adolescents ages 12-17, but most patients are ages 12-17.
- Average daily census: Girls 10 (5 per program), Boys 5
- ALOS: 45 days
- Hours: somewhat flexible as long as they're between 8am-5pm, M,W, Th, and Friday; however, Wednesdays are mandatory due to treatment team meetings on Wednesdays between 10am - 12 noon.
- Initial evaluations are 1 hour, follow ups are as much as 30 minutes but can be less for some patients depending on a patient s needs.
- No formal call, meaning all calls will be done remotely; the locum tenens doctor will never be called back in to see a patient while on call.
- The locum tenens doctor will receive an average of about 3 calls a week after scheduled hours.
Compensation:
The locum tenens doctor will be paid for their time at the regular hourly rate.
