Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned RN Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of our hospice location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience in coordinating patient admissions, arranging ancillary services, and supervising a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality patient care and service through effective leadership and management.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and state or federal laws.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage human resources effectively, including recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of interdisciplinary team members.
- Promote positive communication and keep employees informed of changes and updates.
- Oversee office operations, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of services.
- Monitor and supervise the quality of patient care, working collaboratively with physicians, patients, families, and staff.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- Masters degree in business, nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience required.
- Two or more years of experience in hospice/home care required.
- Three years of experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.
- Three to five years of healthcare sales/management experience preferred.
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment.
- CPR Certification.
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license.
