As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You should have experience and skill caring for patients in a fast-paced, urgent, and emergency environment.
Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care
- Clean and bandage wounds
- Provide IV therapy
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
You should be prepared to perform these tasks while standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. You should also be able to lift 20 pounds and, at times, up to 50 pounds. Good stress-coping skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds are essential.
Requirements- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, 2 Years
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
