Student Access and Accommodation Services utilizes part-time sign language interpreters on an as needed basis to provide services for students and at public events.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation services for students and at public events
  • Work with Student Access and Accommodation Services to coordinate interpretation services

Requirements:

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Licensure with Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission (IDHHC) with an intermediate level or above

Illinois State University is authorized to do business within the State of Illinois. All work under this appointment is required to be performed from within the State of Illinois.
