Special Education Teacher Opportunity

Soliant Health is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for multiple openings near Columbus, NE.

About the Role

This full-time position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse needs, across various educational settings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction and support in resource, behavior, self-contained, or early childhood settings, based on the specific assignment.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support student success.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-related activities.
Qualifications
  • Valid Nebraska teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
  • Previous experience working with K-12th grade students; experience with PreK is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
