Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a Clinical Nurse I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with medical and surgical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patient physical assessments, nursing interventions, teaching, and discharge needs
  • Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care
  • Administer medications and intravenous therapy
  • Collect, handle, and label specimens
  • Implement and document teaching discharge plans
  • Provide emotional support, coping support, and care for patients and their families
Requirements
  • Active, current California RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Successful completion of an EKG course or equivalency
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety measures, and infection control
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • Medical/Surgical, GYN/Urology experience
