We are seeking a highly skilled Optometric Technician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

• Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring all patients receive the highest quality of care.
• Determine the reason for the patient's visit and explain how to shop at Target Optical.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully, identifying special needs and consulting with Opticians, Doctors, or Retail Management when necessary.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, explaining all measurements and answering patient questions.
• Utilize clinical and product knowledge to provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
• Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, providing clinical support to the Optometrist as needed.

• Minimum of one year of strong guest service skills (internal/external)
• High School Graduate/GED or equivalent experience
• Strong communicator and listener to guests and associates
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, caring, patient)
• Sales skills
• Knowledge of store merchandise
• Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators

• Previous experience in guest service, retail, or optical
