Histology Technician Position

This laboratory is seeking a skilled Histotech to join their team in a permanent and full-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and complex histology procedures, including embedding, grossing, special stains, and IHC.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in histology or a related field, as well as HTL or HT Certification through ASCP or an equivalent organization.

The laboratory offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a competitive hourly rate and excellent benefits such as medical, dental, life insurance, LTD, and 401(k). Sign-on bonus or relocation assistance may be available for eligible applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex histology procedures
  • Embed, gross, and process tissue samples
  • Conduct special stains and IHC
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in histology or a related field
  • HTL or HT Certification through ASCP or an equivalent organization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
