About the Position:
We are seeking a qualified Long Term Substitute Teacher to join our team at Chelsea Public Schools. As a Long Term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a grade 4 classroom.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
- Provide instruction and support to students in a grade 4 classroom
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Ability to work with diverse student population
- Knowledge of Massachusetts Curriculum frameworks and instructional strategies
Terms:
The Long Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for a 6.5 hour school day, with the possibility of longer hours for schools with extended day. The position is available for 185 days.
