Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Marshfield Medical Center - Weston. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.
• Assess and escalate situations as needed, utilizing good judgment and expertise in respiratory care.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Act as a healthcare leader, building constructive relationships and supporting department leadership in achieving department goals and the strategic plan.

• Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certification in a Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Experience working with mechanical ventilation of patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license awarded by the State of Wisconsin or Michigan, depending on location.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care and maintain the active credential per NBRC Guidelines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
• For positions treating patients in intensive care units (ICU): Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications awarded by the American Heart Association within one year of hire.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
• Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT) and Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT) awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care at time of hire.
