Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Assembler, R&D to join our team at MicroVention. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly and sub-assembly of medical devices and products in a senior position under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and package medical devices and products using written and verbal instructions
  • Record data associated with product builds on build records and quality documents
  • Meet quality standards and perform job functions within production standards on 5+ operations
  • Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests
  • Act as backup in supervisory or lead roles
Requirements
  • Ability to perform small and detailed assembly work using a microscope, vision system, and related automated equipment
  • Strong communication skills in English to read work instructions and provide feedback to supervisors
  • Ability to provide training to certified operators and audit operator performance related to documentation
  • Knowledge of mathematics to support production needs
  • Knowledge in measuring techniques to perform product quality assessments
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures as written
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • General knowledge of clean room procedures
  • Previous experience in microscope assembly in a medical device industry
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in medical device assembly and/or packaging of products
