Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our technical project team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and experience in managing traditional and Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the development of project plans, including project tailoring, spend plans, staffing plans, and the project schedule.
  • Coordinate the development of the program organizational chart and assign roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate risk and opportunity management plans and meetings.
  • Lead and conduct project reviews, including customer and internal reviews and meetings.
  • Effectively present program cost, schedule, and measurement data to business leadership and customers.
  • Monitor and measure performance of the project, including developing and recording Key Performance Measures (KPIs).
  • Coordinate business functions for project success, including supply chain, logistics, finance, manufacturing, and contracts.
Requirements
  • Minimum eight (8) years of related experience required.
  • Ability to gain or current US Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Windows.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project and scheduling practices.
  • Basic understanding of reading and comprehending drawings, specifications, and other technical information.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to organize engineers to manage issues throughout the development life cycle of the project.
  • Technical leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead the resolution of tough technical challenges.
  • Experience managing traditional and Agile teams.
  • Experience creating/managing Backlogs in Azure DevOps or similar.
Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline or related field. MBA or Masters in Engineering preferred.
