About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join their team for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Catheterization Laboratory Technician to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cath lab procedures and be able to work effectively with a team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transports patients as needed.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician preferred.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
