Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Radiance Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays, using digital technology to capture high-quality images.
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations, working closely with our dental laboratory team.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, promoting healthy habits and preventing complications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history forms, ensuring seamless communication with our dental team.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Use Dentrix or other dental software systems to schedule appointments and manage patient records, streamlining our workflow and improving efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and science, with a strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, provide exceptional customer service, and promote a positive work environment.
