Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct GPS surveys, overhead/underground line locating, inspections, testing, and documentation of gas distribution facilities, ROW, compressors, and other related infrastructure.
  2. Complete design tasks for associated utility design projects, including drafting, engineering calculations, easement validation, design/construction cost estimating, and permit package development.
  3. Review Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for updates or conflicts.
  4. Coordinate projects for construction across multiple departments to ensure timely completion and meet customer, crew member, or client needs within a negotiated timeframe.

Requirements
  1. High School Diploma required; technical certificate in drafting or other technical skill preferred.
  2. 1-3 years of general construction or utility experience preferred in the gas industry.
  3. Basic design skills, AutoCAD or MicroStation knowledge preferred.
  4. Must have own vehicle and ability to travel if required.
