We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of student education plans.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in speech and language therapy to ensure the delivery of evidence-based services.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
  • Hold certifications from relevant boards and associations, such as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Strong knowledge of special education policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and professionals.
  • Preferred experience working in educational settings, with a focus on providing speech and language services to students with diverse needs.
