Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC.

As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, and adults.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory therapy.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
  • One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a neonatal or pediatric setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
