Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and promoting health education and disease prevention initiatives.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
  • Preset medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethical principles, and legal requirements governing advanced practice nursing.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration in Nevada.
  • Clinical experience in primary care, family practice, or a related specialty preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
