Residential Treatment Team Member Opportunity

Villa of Hope is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our residential treatment team as a Youth Care Professional. This is a full-time position working overnight shifts in our residential treatment program.


About the Role
  • The successful candidate will provide individual and group supervision, maintain confidentiality and security, and exercise full compliance with Agency code of conduct and policies.
  • Responsibilities include obtaining and maintaining Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification, utilizing TCI-approved crisis prevention/intervention techniques, and documenting incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provides individual and group supervision to ensure the physical and emotional needs of youth are met.
  2. Maintains confidentiality and security for all client/staff-related materials/records.
  3. Exercises full compliance with Agency code of conduct, policies, and procedures, as well as Federal and State laws and regulations.
  4. Supports youth in attending school and provides homework assistance as needed.
  5. Develops nurturing relationships with each client, promoting cultural competency and understanding.

Requirements
  • H.S Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with adolescents preferred.
  • Strong recreation background preferred.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license in good standing.
  • CPR certification required for some programs and training will be provided.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $20-$25 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
