Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis in Tupelo, Mississippi.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic procedures, assisting physicians and medical staff during procedures, and providing excellent customer service to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures using ultrasound equipment
  • Assist physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and medical staff
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in radiology and adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasound Technology
  • Registered by ARDMS or AIUM
  • Registered by the American Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
  • Licensed by the State of Mississippi (MRT) preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required
