Davidson Group HR Solutions is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Electrician. This position requires work at various job sites, necessitating travel of different distances and durations. The primary work area is in the southeastern region.
Our company specializes in the intricate demands of electrical installation across multiple sectors, including technology facilities, pharmaceutical production, water and wastewater management, wood processing, biofuels, non-woven textiles, and food-grade manufacturing. We are adept at working on both new construction sites and existing industrial facilities.
The Electrician will be tasked with the installation of electrical systems and related components for industrial or heavy commercial low to medium voltage power setups, lighting, and instrumentation/control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily project tasks as directed by the Job Superintendent, Supervisor, or Foreman.
- Communicate trade-related concepts and techniques to field supervisors and assistants.
- Maintain the tool inventory as per Davidson Group HR Solutions standards.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure from job sites using personal transportation.
- Meet all criminal background and drug testing criteria for the position.
- Complete necessary on-the-job training.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in fundamental electrical trade skills, including both underground and above-ground work.
- Thorough understanding of current electrical codes and regulations.
- Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in the construction sector, particularly in electrical work.
- Capability to work in confined spaces.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant electrical experience and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program at the journeyman level.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Current training in OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, and NFPA 70E is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Willingness to travel and stay regionally on a regular basis.
