Cyber Operations Specialist Job Description

As a Cyber Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting the Army's networks and systems from cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include conducting offensive and defensive cyber operations, collecting and analyzing digital data, and maintaining network defense tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct integrated and synchronized offensive cyberspace operations
  • Conduct defensive operations to protect data, networks, and net-centric capabilities
  • Collect, analyze, and report digital data
  • Maintain network defense tools such as routers and firewalls
  • Evaluate network defense operations
  • Respond to incidents in cyberspace
Training and Certification:

You will receive comprehensive training in cyber operations, including industry-leading certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+. You will also have the opportunity to earn certifications in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
