Job Summary

Northern Light Health is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our Home Care team in Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Exercise independent judgment in coordinating home care treatment plans and supervising staff
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, and family members to achieve optimal results
  • Responsible for directing and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants, PT students, and Home Health Aides

Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maine
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Working Conditions

  • Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive people
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to understand the language used to precisely describe the human body
  • Experience with electronic medical records and billing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
