Cardiac Sonographer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing accurate analyses of cardiac anatomy and interpreting studies to assess patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to assess patient anatomy and function.
  • Utilize advanced technology and equipment to capture high-quality images and data.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and monitor physiological parameters to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Vascular/Cardiac Sonography or equivalent experience.
  • Registered Vascular Lab Technician, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification preferred.
