Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Nursing to lead our nursing teams and drive exceptional patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our nursing units and departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for nursing and business operations, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage nursing teams, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and efficiency in patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee department operations, including budget development, staffing decisions, and employee engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in nursing (or one of which is nursing) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agency requirements.
