  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Take orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage the waiting list and adhere to proper seating order procedures
  • Describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests
  • Attend to any other guest needs during the entire dining experience
  • Use proper telephone etiquette
  • Enter and deliver \u201cTo Go\u201d orders correctly
  • Address complaints promptly in a courteous manner
  • Assist service personnel in providing beverage orders and refills and clearing and setting tables
  • Willingly assist other team members without being asked
  • Maintain proper supply of clean menus
  • Lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of station and floor breakdowns
  • Possess strong product and menu knowledge
  • Maintain foyer area of restaurant to be clean, organized and inviting to guests
  • Complete all required side-work, including deep cleaning assignments
  • Adhere to Denny\u2019s Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
  • Provide courteous service and be cordial to all team members and guests
